My interview with Addis Dimts radio in Ethiopia

A little while back, I was interviewed by the #1 Ethiopian radio station based in the United States, Addis Dimts radio. You can listen to the interview (which is in Amharic, a language spoken by at least 60 million people and all Ethiopians) here.

For English speakers, the interview focused on:
  1. The challenges of African diplomats and the struggle between professionalism and loyalty to the party line of the regimes in power
  2. The current Ethiopian political developments, focusing on Ethiopian foreign policy and diplomacy
  3. Human rights and good governance in Africa, particularly Zimbabwe
  4. The shortcomings and challenges of the African Union to challenge undemocratic leaders

Dear Brook,

thank you so much for this brilliant, insightful, objective and articulate interview. We Ethiopians at home and abroad should be proud to have such an intelligent, well-educated and dedicated Prof.

My Thanks also to the interviewer, the questions were: precise, concise and tackeled key problems in national regional and international politics, policy, and relations.

Mach weiter so Prof. Brook

Sehr stolz auf Dich!!
