A little while back, I was interviewed by the #1 Ethiopian radio station based in the United States, Addis Dimts radio. You can listen to the interview (which is in Amharic, a language spoken by at least 60 million people and all Ethiopians) here.
For English speakers, the interview focused on:
- The challenges of African diplomats and the struggle between professionalism and loyalty to the party line of the regimes in power
- The current Ethiopian political developments, focusing on Ethiopian foreign policy and diplomacy
- Human rights and good governance in Africa, particularly Zimbabwe
- The shortcomings and challenges of the African Union to challenge undemocratic leaders
