My interview with VOA Africa in Focus about HIV/AIDS 12/23/08

I discuss HIV/AIDS in Sudan with Voice of America Africa in Focus' Todd Grosshans. Todd asked me about Imam Tarig Mohamed, of Kassala, the capital of the eastern state of Sudan, who has been preaching condom usage. I told Todd this is a "very bold move" to discuss not only secular, but even sexual matters in the mosque. I think many of Imam Mohamed's peers in Sudan will not support this move.

This interview was broadcasted to the African continent and was shown by many African public and private TV stations in Western, Eastern, and Southern Africa.
